A new Tex’s Chicken & Burgers restaurant has opened in Levittown.

The 1,500-square-foot eatery is located in the Levittown Mews shopping center at 3361 Hempstead Turnpike.

The Levittown restaurant is the fifth Tex’s Chicken & Burgers location on Long Island. The others are located in Centereach, Hicksville, East Islip and Selden.

Formerly known as Texas Chicken & Burgers, the chain recently rebranded. It opened its first restaurant in the Bronx in 2016 and now has more than 40 stores up and down the East Coast.

The menu at Tex’s Chicken & Burgers features Southern-style comfort food, including fried chicken, cheeseburgers, French fries and biscuits. The chain joins a tenant roster at Levittown Mews that includes Walmart Neighborhood Market, Ulta, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Lane Bryant, European Wax Center, Leslie’s Swimming Pools, Jovia Financial Credit Union, H&R Block, Sexy Crab Cajun Seafood & Bar, Rock Box Fitness, and Advance Auto Parts.

Robert Delavale procured the tenant and served as in-house representative for the landlord, Breslin Organization, in the Levittown lease transaction.
