An Oklahoma-based quick-service restaurant chain is coming to Long Island.
Planet Tubes Totally Tubular leased a 1,200-square-foot retail space at 80 Bayville Ave. in Bayville, where it plans to open this fall.
The company also leased a 1,460-square-foot restaurant space in the Atrium Plaza shopping center at 902 Wheeler Road in Hauppauge, where it expects to open in the spring of 2025.
The menu at Planet Tubes Totally Tubular features hot dogs garnished with a variety of toppings, including shredded steak, mini meatballs and chili and cheese. Other offerings include sandwiches, French fries, falafel, French toast and more.
Founded in 2022, Totally Tubular opened its first eatery in Tulsa, Okla.
Company executive Shelbi Williams said the chain received many requests from fans of the concept to open here. She added that Planet Tubes Totally Tubular is planning to open more locations on Long Island and around the New York metropolitan area in the next few years.
Nick Evangelista of NY Space Finders represented the tenant, while Giuseppe Gregorio of NY Space Finders represented the landlord, S&V Realty, in the Bayville lease transaction.
Mike Marjanovic and Rich Pino of R&R Commercial Realty Group represented the tenant, as well as the landlord, San G Realty Inc., in the Hauppauge lease transaction.
