CIBS W, the women’s division of the Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island, will host a discussion about the use of artificial intelligence in commercial real estate.

The event, titled “Navigating the AI Revolution: A Blueprint for Commercial Real Estate Professionals,” is scheduled for Wednesday morning, Oct. 23 at RXR’s 58 South Service Road in Melville. The featured keynote speaker is real estate industry icon Bob Knakal, chairman and CEO of BK Real Estate Advisors (BKREA), and a prominent figure in New York City real estate with over 2,339 buildings brokered, valued at about $22 billion.

For 26 years, Knakal was the owner and operator of Massey Knakal Realty Services, one of New York City’s most prolific commercial real estate brokerage firms. The firm was sold to Cushman & Wakefield in 2014 for $100 million. An industry thought leader, Knakal frequently appears on podcasts and national television networks such as Fox, CNBC and MSNBC.

With AI increasingly impacting industries worldwide, CIBS says the event is “an essential opportunity for commercial real estate professionals to learn from one of the industry’s most respected leaders.” Knakal will share his insights on blending traditional real estate strategies with cutting-edge AI technologies to create a new model for the future.

The event, which will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming commercial real estate and what professionals need to know to stay ahead of the curve, is free for CIBS members and $50 for non-members.
