The apparel chain opened a 6,800-square-foot store in the Mayfair Shopping Center at 10-2020 Jericho Turnpike in Commack. The space was formerly occupied by MGM Shoes.
The new Commack is J.Crew Factory’s seventh on Long Island, following stores in Huntington Station, Oceanside, Garden City, Tanger Riverhead and two at Tanger Deer Park.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this community,” Jody Gietl, head of J.Crew Factory, said in a written statement. “We’re looking forward to offering families great styles for every occasion, all at compelling prices.”
J.Crew Factory offers apparel and accessories for women, men and children. Perks for shoppers are offered through J.Crew Passport, the brand’s free-to-join loyalty program, where members earn points on purchases, earning a $5 reward for every 200 points. The brand also offers discounts for teachers, college students, healthcare workers, first responders and military personnel, according to the statement.
The Commack J.Crew Factory store is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
J.Crew Factory is part of J.Crew Group Inc., which started out as Popular Merchandise in 1947 before being renamed J.Crew in 1983. The company also owns the Madewell brand.
Open Realty Advisors represented J.Crew Factory, while Levin Management represented the landlord, Arlona Limited Partnership, in the Commack lease transaction.
