Fast casual restaurant chain Just Salad is celebrating the opening of its newest Long Island restaurant in Port Washington. 

Just Salad opened a 1,736-square-foot space in the Soundview Marketplace shopping center at 143 Shore Road in Port Washington.  

The new Port Washington restaurant is the chain’s sixth on Long Island, following others in Commack, Oceanside, Westbury, Huntington and Hauppauge.  

To celebrate the grand opening in Port Washington, Just Salad will donate $1 to Residents Forward for every in-store purchase made on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The restaurant will also offer $5 meals for its Reusable Bowl customers who purchase meals in-store on Thursday, Dec. 12. 

In addition, Just Salad will offer $5 meals for community workers who purchase meals in-store on Friday, Dec. 13. The restaurant will offer $8.99 salads and warm bowls for Reusable Bowl customers who order in-store on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. between Monday, Dec. 16 and Friday, Jan 3. 

Besides Just Salad, the 188,109-square-foot Soundview Marketplace has added a slew of new tenants in recent months, including a 2,000-square-foot Starbucks, a 1,668-square-foot Crumbl Cookies, a 4,303-square-foot Eden Nail Spa, a 1,094-square-foot GNC store and a 1,728-square-foot Woof Gang, a dog bakery and grooming chain. 

The new businesses join Target, TJ Maxx, Walgreens, West Marine, Five Below, F45 and Ace Hardware at the 11-acre Port Washington shopping center which is now more than 80 percent occupied. 

Eric Gillman and Adam Bass of CBRE represented Just Salad, while Jason Sobel, Jeremy Isaacs and Juliana Chiarelli of RIPCO Real Estate represented the landlord, PEBB Soundview LLC, in the Port Washington lease transaction.
