A furniture wholesale company is relocating its Long Island operations after acquiring an industrial property in Ronkonkoma.

Arra of NY Inc., which does business as Meble Furniture, purchased the 22,786-square-foot building on 1.46 acres at 70 Air Park Drive for $5.05 million.

The building, which was delivered vacant, also features about 5,000 square feet of office space. The former owner, S&M Air Park LLC, had purchased the property in 2023 for $4.48 million.

Meble Furniture, which sells its home furnishings on e-commerce websites such as Wayfair, Overstock, Amazon, Walmart and others, will use the Ronkonkoma property to consolidate its operations from about 80,000 square feet it’s been leasing at two buildings in Bay Shore, according to a broker on the deal.

Three years ago, the company acquired a 245,000-square-foot warehouse in upstate Apalachin near Binghamton.

Michael Gronenthal of Douglas Elliman Commercial represented the buyer, while his Douglas Elliman Commercial colleague Devang Patel represented the seller, S&M Air Park LLC, in the sales transaction.
