Howard Hanna|Coach Realtors (HHCR) has acquired Baldwin Realty, a single-office real estate brokerage in Baldwin.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Baldwin Realty was founded in 1954 by Bill Walcot. The boutique brokerage has most recently been owned and operated by Marilyn Sandroni. Sandroni and six other sales associates from Baldwin Realty will now operate from the Howard Hanna | Coach Realtors office at 314 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
“We believe that this acquisition benefits HHCR by allowing us to work with an incredibly dedicated team of highly professional real estate associates who have a strong commitment to, and knowledge of Nassau County. We in return will provide the agents of Baldwin Realty the resources required to meet client expectations in the very competitive residential real estate market,” L.P. Finn, vice president of Howard Hanna|Coach Realtors, said in a company statement. “Marilyn brings to our firm over four decades of real estate experience. Her broad base of relationships and passion for the real estate industry make her an excellent fit for HHCR.”
Sandroni said she looks forward to “an exciting new chapter” and continuing the legacy of her company.
“I see great opportunities for our excellent sales team to expand professionally and enjoy the many benefits that Howard Hanna|Coach Realtors has to offer,” Sandroni said in the statement. “This was the best move for us, our clients and customers, by far.”
